My name is Pippa and I am an iTEC Level 3 qualified sports massage therapist. I operate on a mobile basis in the Surrey area. As a Sport and Exercise Science graduate from Loughborough University I have a particular interest in Physiology and Anatomy as well as wider subjects related to sport. I offer treatments of up to 60mins utilising a wide range of massage techniques including myofascial release, soft tissue release (STR), Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT) and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET). Each treatment is specifically tailored to the individual, taking into account personal characteristics and requirements to ensure the most effective treatment programme is delivered.

What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is the practice and treatment of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments as well as lymphatic vessels. Massage involves acting on and manipulating the client’s muscles with pressure, tension, and motion through manual hands on techniques applied with the hands, fingers, elbows and forearm.

What I Offer

I have a range of different options in terms of treatment. Sessions of 30, 45 and 60mins, all including a postural assessment and specific aftercare advice and exercises are available to book via phone or email. It is also possible to book a course of sessions over a number of weeks at an agreeable price.
